Swiss flutist Eva Oertle plays an inexhaustible repertoire on her instrument. She has performed with such early-music specialists as Il Giardino Armonico and Al Ayre Español yet has also ventured into the experimental music of the avant-garde. Together with Vesselin Stanev, a pianist acclaimed for his interpretations of Liszt and Chopin, she will perform several remarkable masterpieces at her concert in Echternach, including Schubert’s ravishing variations on the song “Trockne Blumen” (“Withered Flowers”) and the enchanting “Undine” Sonata by Carl Reinecke a friend of fellow composers Schumann and Brahms.
